A recent study conducted by international scientists claimed that mushrooms are highly effective in fighting cancer.
Scientists from Queensland University of Technology said that in their experiment the turkey tail mushroom proved 100 percent effective in curing prostate cancer in mouse.
The study published in PLoS ONE said a compound polysaccharopeptide, extracted from the turkey tail mushroom, targets the prostate cancer stem cells and suppress tumour formation.
